A mercenary with a three-bladed sword rediscovers his royal heritage's dangerous future when he is recruited to help a princess foil the designs of a brutal tyrant and a powerful sorcerer in conquering a land. Ill-advised attempt to blend sword and sorcery with traditional swashbuckling motifs (despite some superficial similarities, they're two very different sort of stories.) Lee Horseley, of all people, starts as the hero, a swashbuckling soldier-of-fortune-rogue-but-still-likable type who gets involved in the resistance to an evil despot. Some interesting aspects to the story (the relationship between the evil despot and his semi-henchman the evil sorcerer is interesting, as is the fact that most of the movie passes without the bad guy really understanding who the good guy even is.) and a fun, techy little sword (three prongs, two of which shoot out) doesn't really help a story that mostly falls flat, despite all of the jumping around and sort of forced frivolity. One way to describe this movie is that it feels like a bad idea done about as well as you could expect. Boasts a great cast from classic television shows. Despite one of the silliest plot devices/props ever conceived (a triple -bladed sword that fires its two spare blades at the touch of a button) this is one of the most enjoyable movies of the genre. While taking itself seriously as a narrative, it never fails to point up the comic potential in the various situations that the characters find themselves in. For examplem the hero, Talon, while being pursued by the palace guard, crashes through a window and finds himself sprawled in the middle of the topless harem. What to do, what to do…

It'a also a good movie for playing "Pick the person who became famous later. " Some of them are nearly unrecognizable in the costumes or makeup. Keep an eye on the credits.

A note before the end credits suggested a sequel. It's too bad it was never made. Even if your idea of a good time is watching a man dressed as a malevolent oak tree extend his branches and literally tear a woman's heart from her chest, I think you ought to pass on The Sword and the Sorcerer. [26 Apr 1982] Because he only wanted revenge for his mother and fathers murder, also he wanted to be a free spirit and have many adventures which would not have been possible if he became the king and stayed in one place a5c7b9f00b Escaflowne dubbed hindi movie free download torrentmalayalam movie download Time ManagementCinelab 720p torrentShakedown movie hindi free downloadTwist of Fate movie download hddownload Valley of the RedwoodsJade in hindi free downloadthe A Touch of Cloth full movie download in hinditamil movie dubbed in hindi free download Shin Koihime musEpisode 1.70 malayalam full movie free download
